Westmere character cottage becomes a dream home

Dave & Kath loved the location of their cute character cottage in Westmere.

It really felt like we were in control during the build. We've really loved being part of this process.

What they weren't so in love with was the pokey kitchen and impractical layout of the home.  Each room was boxed off and dark.

By completely stripping the original cottage back, we not only updated the existing spaces but we also reconfigured the layout for this social pair by adding a large two-storey extension. Creating a must-have 'heart of the home', the kitchen dining, and living. All of which flow seamlessly into the garden and decking for quintessential kiwi bbq's and hosting.  The new flow will no doubt be an absolute winner for their new arrival for playtime in the garden outback.

The couple are thrilled with their new dream home including a gorgeous Master retreat upstairs and don't see themselves leaving anytime soon.
