ECC have long been known for their designer touches, so I have selected some key pieces from their latest catalogue for your viewing pleasure.

Here's a summary of their latest arrivals:

'The Minotti outdoor ‘Home Anthology Collection’ utilizes the choice of exclusive materials and surprising combinations - wood, stone, glass, fabrics and leather – with amazing textures and colours that kindle feelings of warmth'

This love seat is a show stopper! with its mix of textured fabric and warm timber frame.  Very nice indeed.  It's part of the Florida outdoor seating range at ECC.

Looking for an outdoor table with a difference?

Here's one without all the usual sturdy appeal of timber. This delicate metal framed table will certainly add some style to your outdoor area whilst keeping a great feeling of space.

How about a comfortable and stylish armchair?

This lovely rust coloured outdoor armchair is named Colette, comes in a range of coloured frames and has the option to select different fabric for the covers.

Hoping to get horizontal in style?

Try this laid back lounger on for size, I feel more relaxed just looking at it!

Ocean Weave Furniture offers a range of NZ designed, quality outdoor furniture. With a myriad of textures, shapes & uses.

Here are just two of my faves:

This rounded rattan 4 piece outdoor set is just stunning, with its art deco influence. It's part of the Barbados range of outdoor furniture.

Loving the soft lines of these outdoor seats, so nice to see some individual shapes coming through.  These chairs belong to the Natuna range.

One of the key things to keep in mind is quality and materials.

With such strong sun and UV levels in New Zealand, our outdoor furniture needs to endure a lot. So, by selecting strong and proven outdoor furniture materials, and purchasing through a reputable and knowledgeable store, you can feel safe in knowing that not only will your furniture look great when it arrives but shall stand the test of time.

Also, consider your outdoor space, is it a covered outdoor room or open to all elements? Some outdoor furniture will need to be stored, or at least the soft furnishing portions if your space is not covered or protected from the change in season.

Don't forget the stylings of Dawson & Co

This outdoor table has a nice industrial edge, whilst combining the warmth of Timber.

Part of the 'Wells Range' at  Dawson and Co.

Who needs a tropical holiday?

Not with a day bed like this and umbrella to shade while you read or snooze. This is from the Aruba range.

I am in LOVE with this Tosca armchair, it's simply stunning!! Comes in two colours a natural tone and this ashy silver.  Gorgeous!
