Mt Albert Bungalow renovation & extension restores the character & charm

When Paul & Kate of Alpha 1 Builders purchased their Mt Albert bungalow, it was due to the location & the 'potential' but sadly not for the charm.

Over the years the home was stripped bare of any character expected of a bungalow from the 1930's and replaced by unsympathetic 70's updates.

The entire home needed a major overhaul, which is exactly what took place. They carefully re-instated the panelling, ceiling battens and fireplace etc.  While renovating & extending the home key pieces were selected to honour the home's era.

It was a real labour of love and now sits proudly for the family of 5 to enjoy.
